Title: Moms Over The Miles-Soliciting Ideas!!!!
Post by: Butterfly on Sep 07, 2004, 09:44:41 PM
For those of you who are interested, //www.momsovermiles.com offers some very creative ideas for maintaining your parent-child relationship.

Recently I discovered a fun way to 'write' letters to my daughter.  I save all of the magazines I've finished reading and I cut out words/letters to form a personalized message I want to send my daughter.  It's artistic and so kid-friendly!

All you need is office stick glue, used magazines and your imagination!!!

DD7 loves 'em!!!

So, what methods have all of you used to maintain your relationship with your child between parenting access times?

I have a bunch...and could always use more ideas!!! :)

I make CD's and DVD's for him that include some music he likes, some I like and mini movies of us just doing everyday stuff...

it works...and I make sure he gets them by mailing them on Saturday or Monday...takes 4 days for the stuff to get there and he is the one that checks the mail..
