Title: HAs anyone ever used the argument in court that the court disregarded income amounts?
Post by: olegeezer on Sep 20, 2004, 12:30:45 PM
Case in point, father ordered to pay full income as support, regardless of actual income. Upon reconsideration, judge ruled that it was true, income was not warranting the amount of support ordered, but the figure would stand. Father did not have the money to pursue a full appeal.
Since the father went into arrears, bank account seized, charges filed, is there any way to argue that another adjustment of the support amount has not been asked for because the court has repeatedly denied such efforts regardless of actual income? Father was laid off and could not find work for several months, recently is working, but probably the charges were filed before

I hope that is being clear. *sigh*

Thanks.
