Write Governor Tom Vilsack and urge him to support and sign HF22 into law.

This bill would allow judges to presume joint phyisical care in the same manner as joint legal custody is currently decided.

My Democratic candidate frineds are VERY interested in this issue, as they rightly should be. But when I passed on the info to my Republican legislators, they barely responded that they had even received it. Wanna make a guess as to which way I'm voting???

BTW, what part of the state are you in?? 'Hawkeye' can mean anywhere, LOL! But I 'work' in the heart of Hawkeye Country!

My husband and I have wrote and called the gov on this too. We are in total support of this bill passing and throughly voiced our opinion. It is High Time Iowa takes a stand for their children.

It doesn't "presume" it "ALLOWS" .

At any rate, it was signed into law TODAY! See the Father's board here for more info.....
