Title: Meeting with Governor Benson - July 23rd - Fathers rights
Post by: wendy on Jul 19, 2004, 03:48:09 AM
The NCFCNH and the Children's Rights Counsel  as well as a few other groups have pulled it off. We met with Gov. Benson in Brentwood for one of his open door sessions and overwhelmed him. He has arranged a meeting for Fathers rights groups to come and discuss issues relating to: custody, child support, RO and DCYS issues. Granted he has only alloted 30 minutes, we hope to take up more of his time if possible. Please tell all you know in the NH area to show up at the Governor's Office in Concord on Friday the 23rd at 12:30 p.m. to show support for Dads.  If you need more information you can find it on //www.dadsneedrights.org.

Hope the meeting went well.

I wish I could have made it. As in all other states we here in the great state of NH need Child Support (read hidden x spouse support) reform. These biased laws are drivng a bunch of Dads to the poverty line and beyond.

Please post how the meeting went.
