My first husband passed away 4 years ago...my children were 10 and 7...they are now 14 (15 in May) and 11 (12 in Aug). My new husband would like to be a father in every sense of the word including adoption. What is involved....will this affect my children's receiving social security benefits from their father's death? Any help appreciated.:-)
