Unfortunately, many innocent parents or "good enough" parents find themselves falsely accused of child abuse or neglect and have their children removed by CPS.
Some non-custodial parents try to use CPS as "weapons" to try to win custody of children.
Then parents/family often find it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to retrieve their children from CPS custody quickly...if at all.
