See that "Flood Smart" banner from the government? (it's a skyscraper banner that shows up on the right side of the page)
Click on it and plug in your zip code- fascinating stuff. I had no idea that my area was actually at risk from flooding, but it appears to be a actual "risk" zone. Some zip codes are zero risk, others are super high. Pretty interesting, take a peek and see if you're in a potential flood zone. I had no idea that my home is in one.
