Title: Sad but true saying
Post by: 4honor on Jun 22, 2009, 09:19:00 PM
Recently while watching one of the myriad of court shows, I heard the following statement and I just had to nod and say sad but true...

"You keep bellyaching about me stepping up, I got no problem with that, but first you gotta get the hell off the stairs!"

Wow......how prophetic.  Too bad there's too many CP's out there who won't 'take the hint'....they b*tch and complain publicly about how the NCP won't get involved, but won't stop the PAS and undermining preventing the NCP from doing so.

Too bad there isn't a way to take that statement and turn it into a proverbial 2x4 upside a bunch of CP's heads so they'd finally get the message.......

Oh how true...

The WSJ just did an article on maternal gatekeeping.  http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124519757969321229.html (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124519757969321229.html)

The article was about gatekeeping within an intact relationship - but I wonder if mothers who are predisposed to gatekeeping behavior are more likely to engage in alienation and interference after divorce/seperation.
