can a notarized letter be used in place of a physical witness?
I'm no attorney, but NOPE.
As the devil's advocate -- I would want the right to cross examine the person who wrote the letter.
I may be wrong....but I'd side with NOPE.
what about just to make a statement like "the father has been involved with parent teacher conferences, school parties and functions" ?
i understand what you said, and that makes sense.
Still no. The other side has a right to ask questions of any witness. Can't ask a piece of paper questions.
