Title: Dismissed without prejudice...
Post by: Divorced Diva on Aug 31, 2011, 09:11:24 AM
Went to court yesterday to violate ex and because I want to modify petition judge dismissed case without prejudice.  Ex is laughing at this thinking I lost completely.

I guess I don't uderstand..was it just formality or she dismissed it cause she thought there was nothing??

Dismissed without prejiduce means you can file again.

You may not have had enough to warrant the actual filing.  What was the objection as to why it was dismissed?

1) This was an old post
2) In my state, courts don't appoint attorney's in civil court, only in criminal court for defense.
