We filed contempt August 1. First hearing postponed to 12/6 because attorney was ill. Now that is postponed because BM waited until 12/1 to hire attorney. Don't have a new date yet, probably mid-January. Meanwhile, she is not bothering with the court ordered counseling, and she gives us new rules every month.
Where is karma when you need it?????
Welcome to family court....take months and months to get to a trial. If she is still not following order, get proof, and file more contempt counts. They will add it all onto next court date. Each side can usually postpone at least once without a judge getting upset. Stinks...hours and hours in a court room...
