Can child support be enforced on a parent whos child has had a child? This is in Texas.
I never deal with Texas. There are other folks here though that do, so hopefully one will chime in.
I also recommend searching on "Emancipation Texas".....and maybe that will lead you to an answer.
Oh yea, go to the news articles in the other section and find the article that takes you to an attorney in Dallas, he might also be able to answer a generic question on his site.

That's the link you get to under the "Standard Possession" article.
Child support remains until the child is 18 or graduated from high school whichever is latest.
The support order should spell out the only way child support is stopped. Unless the child has got married I don't think it would stop.
IF the child itself becomes a parent and responsible for another....THAT might qualify.
But each state is gonna be different -- so research Texas.
