Title: Can't keep head above water...have court on 7/25/14
Post by: ATXgirl on Jul 19, 2014, 03:19:52 PM
I need a form or paper to show to the judge what my expenses are and what income is, what I bring in. It does not add up. Everyone seems to want my paycheck!!!  Will the judge look at me badly because I can't afford to pay for my son.

I am trying to keep things afloat, but I never see my son as it is. I work weekends, need to work to keep my income coming in. I want to talk to someone about giving up my rights. But just don't know where to look. This could put me over the edge. I am very sad, in grief.

Giving up your rights does not mean you will no longer be responsible for child support, etc. It just means you dont get to see your son. Be careful.

Each state has a child support calculator, put in your numbers and see what it says. Unless you make below poverty level, child support will be ordered and child support will be taken from your check directly. Child support is paid before other bills.
