ok posted earlier on my situation. i went to legal aid this morning and asked for their assistance. they said with my child living in wv and always has and i live in nc that i would have to file in the state of wv for visitations.but i thought because the child support order is here in nc and was started by me then i would have to file here. which is right?
file for visitation in wv, as they have jurisdiction over child.
child support and visitation are two separate issues.
thanks. can i file from here in nc or do i have to go to wv to go through the process of it.what happens when you file for vistits? i hate to seem dumb about it but i am very new to all of this.
