Bush brother's divorce reveals sex romps
Tuesday, November 25, 2003 Posted: 10:15 PM EST (0315 GMT)

HOUSTON, Texas (Reuters) -- Neil Bush, younger brother of President Bush, detailed lucrative business deals and admitted to engaging in sex romps with women in Asia in a deposition taken in March as part of his divorce from now ex-wife Sharon Bush.

According to legal documents disclosed Tuesday, Sharon Bush's lawyers questioned Neil Bush closely about the deals, especially a contract with Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp., a firm backed by Jiang Mianheng, the son of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, that would pay him $2 million in stock over five years.

Marshall Davis Brown, lawyer for Sharon Bush, expressed bewilderment at why Grace would want Bush and at such a high price since he knew little about the semiconductor business.

"You have absolutely no educational background in semiconductors do you?" asked Brown.

"That's correct," Bush, 48, responded in the March 4 deposition, a transcript of which was read by Reuters after the Houston Chronicle first reported on the documents.

"And you have absolutely over the last 10, 15, 20 years not a lot of demonstrable business experience that would bring about a company investing $2 million in you?"

"I personally would object to the assumption that they're investing $2 million in me," said Bush, who went on to explain that he knew a lot about business and had been working in Asia for years.

Bush, who inked the Grace deal in August 2002, said he had not yet received any stock from the company, which built a plant in Shanghai that began production in September. He is supposed to consult for the company and be on the board of directors, he said.

He said he joined the Grace board at the request of Winston Wong, a co-founder of the company and the son of Wang Yung-ching, the chairman of Taiwan's largest business group, Formosa Plastics Corp. Bush never mentioned Jiang Mianheng in the deposition.

Wong, he said, also is an investor in his latest venture, Ignite!, an Austin, Texas, educational software firm.

A representative at Grace's U.S. office in California had no comment on the Bush contract.

Brown questioned Bush about numerous other business ventures that paid him well to be a consultant and fundraiser, and, in at least one case, for little work.

Bush said he was co-chairman of Crest Investment Corporation, but worked only an average of three to four hours a week. For that, he received $15,000 every three months.

Bush said he provided Crest "miscellaneous consulting services."

"Such as?" asked Brown.

"Such as answering phone calls when Jamail Daniel, the other co-chairman, called and asked for advice," Bush said.

(Wow!!  $5,000 a month for answering the phone! can *I* get a job like that??)

Bush did not return calls to his Ignite! office and his divorce lawyer, Rick Flowers, was not available for comment.

(Oh, so apparently he isn't even answering the phone. My mistake!)

Bush is the third of five children in the family of former President Bush and wife Barbara.

He was involved in a business controversy in the late 1980s when he was director of Denver, Colorado-based Silverado Savings & Loan, which collapsed at a cost to taxpayers of $1 billion.

(A "business controversy". Ha ha, that's cute. I think the technical term for it was "securities fraud". He swidled tens of thousands of people out of their life savings. Sooooo, yeah, I guess you could call that a "business controversy".)

He denied any wrongdoing, but was sanctioned by the federal government for his part in the failure.

The Bush divorce, completed in April after 23 years of marriage, was prompted in part by Bush's relationship with another woman. He admitted in the deposition that he previously had sex with several other women while on trips to Thailand and Hong Kong at least five years ago.

The women, he said, simply knocked on the door of his hotel room, entered and had sex with him. He said he did not know if they were prostitutes because they never asked for money and he did not pay them.

(Well, shoot, doesn't that happen to ALL of us guys ALL the time? I mean, sometimes I have to bolt the door so that the women can't get in and have sex with me.)

"Mr. Bush, you have to admit it's a pretty remarkable thing for a man just to go to a hotel room door and open it and have a woman standing there and have sex with her," Brown said.

"It was very unusual," Bush said.

(Oh man, I give up. He finally said something that was true.)

Other presidential siblings of the past have generated controversy, among them Billy Carter, who marketed "Billy Beer" to cash in on brother Jimmy's presidency, and more recently Roger Clinton, who was accused of trying to broker pardons at the end of President Clinton's administration.

WHAT??? YOU MEAN OUR PRESIDENT'S FAMILIES AREN'T ALL ANGELIC LITTLE INNOCENTS??? Oooooooooh, I feel dizzy.........

I already saw this on that other site.  Like I said there,  "was Neil dropped on his head as a small child"?

My favorite weird presidential relative, was Billy Carter(Eleanor Roosevelt was way before my time).  Billy Beer!!!!!  The stuff tasted worse than Milwaukee1851. but what the heck )(

Brent, I'm getting the feeling that you aren't that fond of Dubya.  Would you prefer Hillary for president?  Gosh, can't you see all the family friendly legislature she would be signing?  Considering all the crap the red queen lets her husband get away with, she should be granting all you guys some real breaks. /sarcasm

And let's not forget his preferred place to take a piss, which is any holy place, like a mosque or the stairwells of the closest VA Hospital..

>Brent, I'm getting the feeling that you aren't that fond of

They're both lying, cheating, swindlers. Hillary is more adept and slipperier, and somewhat more intelligent. At least you can tell when she's lying (because her lips are moving). Bush is so dim even he doesn't know when he's not telling the truth.

Hillary is nothing more than a female Al Sharpton, someone who is always looking for that "media moment". She's a scammer, and fond of carting off the White House furniture under cover of darkness. Bush, on the other hand, is the only President in history to be quoted saying that "there ought to be limits on freedom". What a guy!

DISCLAIMER: These are my opinions, not SPARC's, so all you lily-livered, weak-kneed wussies who are having kittens over my post can just shut the hell up right now. My opinions do not necessarily reflect ANYTHING about this site other than the fact that I'm allowed to post here. If you want to start whining about how Un-American I am, feel free, but don't expect me to give a damn. Or to humor you for one single second.

that I LOVE the avatar Brent - I just about fell off my chair when I saw it!  The Matrix was good - even if a bit unbelievable.

Thanks for the giggle!

[p]You're confusing Billy Carter with Ozzy Osbourne.  Ozzy let loose on the Alamo way back when.

[p]You know Brent, I kind of thought you were a Republican, what with all the crap that the Democrats espouse.  At least a Libertarian.  The Hildebeast will bury all of us; our hopes and dreams, parental equality, etc...

[p]This was the first election that I didn't vote.  I was kind of going through a nasty divorce, and forgot about politics!. I didn't like Dubya, but I like the way he's handling things now.  The patriot act, and homeland defense need to be nuked, imo.  CLOSE THE FREAKING BORDERS!!!!  See?  There goes half our problems :)

[p]It's quite simple to make  a secure homeland.  Letting people have their guns back would make a big difference.

[p]Big hugs, and  kisses....Bush/Cheney in 2004!!!

[p]Brent, don't even joke about Hillary for president.  She isn't a scammer....she's the Antichrist!!!

My opinions are mine, and  do not reflect the folks who run SPARC.

[p]LMAO!!!

[p]That second link is a scream!

The life and career of George W Bush parallels that of Nero in many ways.  He looks a lot like Nero.

[p]Where do you find this stuff?

Most importantly, they both have the number of the beast.  The number of Nero's name in both Greek and Hebrew is 666.  St. John gave us this number (666) rather than a name (Nero) so that we could identify his name today (George Bush).  Because as I have already demonstrated in exhibit #1, Bush, like Nero, definitely has the mark of the beast.

[p]Well that does it.  I'm writing in Pat Buchanan for president.

>You're confusing Billy Carter with Ozzy Osbourne.  Ozzy let

Nope. Billy Carter was in Saudi Arabia once and drunkenly relieved himself in some sort of mosque or other holy venue. There was a big outcry about it at the time, but Billy laughed it off in his charming "Aw shucks, they was just A-rabs" redneck way and the story eventually died out.

>You know Brent, I kind of thought you were a Republican,

I am not foolish enough to belong to any political party, nor endorse any of them. They're all just different flavors of the same sweet-sounding bullshit. You could say I'm not a big fan of organized religion, politics, or crime. The last two are hardly distinguishable these days. Read the Diebold 'voting' memos (http://www.scoop.co.nz/mason/stories/HL0310/S00211.htm) and tell me it's all an honest mistake. "Ooops, we rigged the election, heh heh heh!"

The Hildebeast will bury all of us; our hopes
>and dreams, parental equality, etc...

I would vote for Geraldo Rivera for president before I'd vote for her.

>I didn't like Dubya, but I like the way he's handling things
>now.

I guess after a while, one's tongue goes numb so the bullshit doesn't taste quite so bad.

[p]Ol' Billy was a hoot, wasn't he?  Certainly more entertaining than Roger.

[p]The funny thing about the Florida elections was that one area "voted overwhelmingly" for PAT BUCHANAN.  Hahahahaa!  He himself was shocked, as he didn't even bother campaigning there ;-)

[p]I would vote for Geraldo Rivera for president before I'd vote for her.

[p]I'm feeling somewhat relieved. I think the first woman president should be Condoleeza Rice.  What do you think?

[p]>I didn't like Dubya, but I like the way he's handling things

[p]I guess after a while, one's tongue goes numb so the bullshit doesn't taste quite so bad.

[p]I was so pissed off at Papa Bush over Iraq and Kuwait, that I voted for Ross Perot.  Loved those flow charts! Dubya will not back down, and he's sending a message that we will not stand by and let injustice continue.  All politicians are full of shit.  What do you do when you're the biggest dog in the yard, and people are begging for help?  What do you do when terrorists make a big f*((*statement?  Why, you kick ass and take names!   Hold on tight and don't let go.  You have a problem with that?  I've already stated my opinion on security measures for our country.  They suck.

[p]Your turn...and Happy Thanksgiving!

[p]Disclaimer:  These are my views, not SPARC'S.  I believe that as the world's most powerful nation, sometimes we have to intervene and correct gross violations of basic human rights.  Guess it sucks to be the big dog in the yard, yeah?

I try to stay out of anything political. I do not vote.
I do however feel that when a terrorist attacks our homeland they should be punished.
When a forgein government hides those people they are saying they approve of that action, and our people should get the justice they deserve for that terrorism.
I support Bush.

---I believe that as the world's most powerful nation, sometimes we have to intervene and correct gross violations of basic human rights---

I agree to an extent.
I first believe we need to handle our own problems. We are giving billions of dollars to other contries, we know we will never see that money again.
Why not spend a few billion on our OWN homeless? our orphans? our elderly?
Do they not deserve our beliefs in basic human rights?
Title: You should vote
Post by: StPaulieGirl on Nov 28, 2003, 06:22:05 PM
Not that it seems to do a whole heck of a lot of good these days....but like my dad said, "if you don't vote, you can't complain".

America is in serious trouble.  We are taking care of everyone.  It's a nice thought, but the people who deserve to be taken care of (vietnam vets), are left in the dust.  The Iraqis and the folks in certain African countries, are counting on us to help them, but we do need to clean up our own mess.  I'm in CA, and the illegals are killing this state : (

Ah what a mess...

If I don't vote I cannot be blamed for the screw ups either *G*

It would be a nice thought if all countries helped out everyone, not just us.
You are right though, America is in serious trouble. I wonder how long we will still be a 'Free Nation'

My thoughts are my own not SPARC's

Lol!  At least you didn't say that registering to vote would make you elligible for jury duty.  That's my 21 yr old daughter's excuse :/

All countries do not consider democracy a virtue.  Some are run by people who think nothing of dropping gasoline filled tires over people's necks....then setting them on fire.  It's really hard when a certain ex president regularly received him and his wife(now in prison in an African country for her crimes) at the White House with full honors.

We're in deep doodoo when the junior senator from New York can go over and tell the troops they don't exactly have 100% support from the American people.  My words...but it's all over the place on that other site I go to.  When the article was posted, the Admin Moderator reminded us not to post anything that could be construed as a death threat towards the Hildebeast.  It's people like that who pose the most serious threat to this country as a whole, and Americans as free men, women, spouses, and most importantly...parents.  It takes a village idiot to think that the state can raise kids better than their own parents.

I'll hop off my soapbox now...

Of course this is my opinion...not necessarily those of the people who run SPARC.
