Title: divorce in UT, she's now in AZ, I am in NC... what state???

Divorce was in Utah, I moved to North Carolina, She moved to Arizona.. she has physical custody or my son... So what state now has jurisdiction over the case???

Unless the divorce decree specifically notates that UT retains jurisdiction, the state the child(ren) live in will get jurisdiction, in this case AZ.  It may be in your best interests to move to her state(city) to get the most of your visitation.  Long distance visistation really cuts down on the amount of time you will get with your child(ren).

as answered before, after 6 months, AZ will be the jurisdiction for custody and parenting time.  as far as child support, you have your choice of UT, AZ, of NC.  remember, I ran some tenative numbers for you and NC had the lowest rate.

what answer are you looking for?  get an atty who specializes in UCCJEA and  out of state matters.
