Post by: nosonew on Sep 15, 2004, 01:56:02 PM
Tell me it isn't so!

Bridget Mark's butt?  I mean.... COME ON!  He blasted the first couple (and SPARC member father) about their conduct in front of the children and never said a work to Marks about her display at the turnover.

And he never questioned the appropriateness of the court to supervise this woman 24 hours a day.  It sounded like he was supporting that there was indeed child abuse.

Dr. Phil ain't no dads' rights advocate....that's for sure.

I agree COMPLETELY!  He is getting a HOT email from me...with a little class added in!  She is a complete actress, they forgot to mention that didn't they? How fake was she...OMG, she was soooo friggin fake! Made me sick!

Oh, and if that biomom had been allowed to get her son back when she first asked, he wouldn't be 12 years old! Good LORD! And the kid's dad is a complete dork, obvious pas going on there!

Yep Dean Tong is working with Marks. I was a little upset how Dr. Phil was with Ms Marks too. I only got the last 5 min of the show. And gee FREE publicity for her book omg what next.

I didn't see our SPARC member as I forgot it was on today.

yeah...I liked the book plug too.  that woman knows how to work the media...first the drama at the exchange with the children and now using the custody battle to promote her book...and modeling...like the way he mentioned that she was a model like 4/5 times?  disgusting, evil woman.

I watched the whole thing too.....what a joke.

Title: total disappointment
Post by: MYSONSDAD on Sep 15, 2004, 05:20:17 PM
WTF! I thought there would be more about false allegations and ROs. They sideswiped the real issues of PAS. This was not at all what I had expected.

If the daddy had custody, decided to remarry and move to Alaska, what the FU*K would she do? I am surprised Dr. Phil did not ask her that. I can not imagine what can be resolved over the handling of this show.
I do not blame the father being mad as hell, I would be too. It is all about control.

The grandmother situation was so sad, neither of those parents seemed to give a damn and the granny did, you could see the love in her eyes. I hope she comes out with alot more then they do. Dillion should stay with her and I commend her for what she has done in his behalf. The father looked like a total moron.

Mommy Dearest put on quite the show. What a shock to see Dean Tong on her team. I have not forgotten PrimeTime and how those girls cried on cue.

Lost respect today for some folks I once thought were trying to get to the truth. Dr. Phil was somewhat bias. Wonder how he would feel about his kids or grandkids 4000 miles away.

Glad I am not alone with what I say, I watched it twice and almost threw up.

Well I emailed Dr. Phil about how disapointed I was in this show and if he wanted to SEE how things really work to come to this site and see what hell ncps have to go thru and how they are reduced to visitors and paycheck in their childrens lives.

I sent a response too, probably not too polite, but maybe he should take a look at what goes on in the real world. Pushed the alienation factor    NCP's have to deal with and lets not forget the CONTROL ISSUES. I feel that is what does the most damage to the kids.

The only thing true to fact were the six things kids need. For that I give credit, but the rest was bullshit served hot on a silver plater.

No words were truer spoken.

Maybe he should have watched PrimeTime..., but that is a different network. Would love to send him a tape.

Money makes the world go round.

Dr. Phil told Bridget he was going to follow up.  We were told a follow up could not take place without Heidi's permission.  Guess what?  No follow up.

The scene's of the twins being picked up and Ms. Marks having a fit - she pulled out the car seat and had a huge display about how the car seat wasn't installed...

I couldn't see exactly what kind of car seat it was, but it looked like it was a booster type seat.  I know know about all car seats, but I do know that my son's car seat (he is also 4), is such that it isn't "attached" to the seat of the car until he is in the seat, and the seat belt is buckled.  So, someone could pull the exact same stunt on our car seat any time my son isn't sitting in it.

I didn't believe her act for one second.  If her goal is the best interest of the children, then why did she create such a huge scene?

Yep. And given that Mr. Aylsworth requested to meet in a private place, and was refused so Marks could create a paparazzi party with her children in the middle (which wasn't mentioned either!), it goes to show WHO cares about the girls emotional well-being.  And it isn't her.

Ms. Marks called the media to cover her story. Very sad for her girls to be so exposed to an already stressful situation.

Dr. Phil is a hypocrit.  Did you see how he blasted the first couple their behavior in front of their children.  How they should act in front of their children.

And Dr. Phil never once blasted Marks about her behavior in front of her children at the exchange or the alienation she attempted against their father.

The entire show was a hypocrasy.

I wanted to comment on a couple of things.  First, Dr. Phil apparently is divorced due to having an affair.  I have to question his ability to counsel people about their marriages, if this is true.

Second, I saw Bridget Marks on, I think, 20/20 recently.  Her behavior was embarassing to watch.  She actually is 38 yrs old, not younger like kitten and I thought.  She should have just stood there and turned herself into stone.  Much more effective, imo.  Probably better for the kids, too.

I wish I could have seen the show, not only for kitten, but I wanted to see what Bridget Marks had to say.  Child molestation charges certainly can be warranted, but her behavior really undermines her case.

By the way, did the good doctor touch on the stepmother issue?  If my super duper rich husband impregnated a good looking model, then went to court and won custody, it would take more than intestinal fortitude to accept these living reminders that her husband is a creep.  Guess she loves SPAMSPAMSPAM...
