Okay here's another question I am pondering. Now yers ago I lived in Mass. and my ex got cse involved, she lived in CT at the time.  So everything was going well. When I moved to Rhode Island, she took me to CT court. CT court raised it and Mass collected it by raising the  garnishment.
Now I have lived in Maine for over a year and made it my legal residence. The ex jetted off to California with the kids and has been there for less than 6 monthes. Can I get Maine Child Support Enforcement take over my case from Mass. So I can goto Court near my home?.

I think they should have to account for it's usage. As a NCP I have seen my 2 boyes with ratty clothes and poor hygiene at visits. However they always have the latest hand held video game systems and a collection of games for them.
Massachusetts offers a debit card with the support monies put on it for CP's and I believe that both parents should have access, say online to view activity and I believe that cash out of the money box ATM should not be an option since almost everything can be bought through debit card. I also believe that these statements of activity should be admissible in a court.
I pay 235 a week in "child support" the term is correct because I am supporting a "child" my ex. To purchase toys and materialistic items. Not clothes, food, and hygiene items for our children.

Can a NCP take the Amount of CS paid in a tax year off of that tax year's gross income?

Thanks alot KAT for the reply. I love this site and wished I'd have found it along time ago. Just a few more things is that I am in the Coast Guard and my medical pays for the boyes 100%, I pay for a dental family for my new family and the boyes ( she never brought them to the dentist anywhere). Actually Maine is on the low side of CS and my current order is from CT there on the very high side. I recentlly recieved notification from Mass. DOR CSE that they are reviewing my order to up or lower it, based on current info. So I called them and they said since she got CSE services from them that they can retain juristitcion anyway so I may have to goto court in Mass. In Maine I filed contempt on her and she is fighting juristiction. Big mess.  I get tax rights as per our divorce decree but she does'nt abide by it and been found in contempt for past 5 years. Since she is remarried her 2nd navy husband claims them for earned income credit. Thanks for your help and tips!

Child Support Issues / Child Support

Okay, Hopefully somebody can help me. I live and work in Maine ( in the Coast Guard). I had a support order from divorce in Rhode Island. My ex first took me took to Court in Mass. to get support raised and then she took me to CT court and got it raised again. She currently skipped out to CA with the kids and refuses visitation. Now I need to get this lowered because I got a new wife, 5 yr old daughter, and got one on the way in June. I am paying 235 a week to ex for our 2 sons below 12yrs. old. She is remarried as well but has not worked or sought to help out in the support of our boyes in 7 years. Support is garnished by MA CSE. I really need to get this lowered and because of the financial burden, I cannot afford an attorney, however she is always bank rolled by her mommy for lawyers. Can any one help?
