I have court ordered visits every other weekend and every other Thursday starting at 12 noon. BM has signed son to preschool, last year it was AM preschool, so no problem. this year its PM preschool so I wont get him till 3:15.  can she do this? he's 4. I am losing 6 hours. I did request another eve and she said no.

I was ordered to pay support according to wages barely over minimum so its 60.00/wk. Am I still entitled to EOyear taxes, In Illinois.

when supervised visits are ordered, how long do I wait to go back and delete the supervision?

XGF and I have 2 1/2 yr old . At present I have supervised visits EOW and EO  Thurs. My parents are the supervisors.  Supervised bcause we didn't get along and she threatened alot of false allegations she had no proof of (I never hit anyone). We'll get that changed later. Anyway she was living with her parents with my son and her 6 yr old. She bought a house a yr ago but its got a long way to go to be redone.  Recently shes been calling more for babysitting. Found out she fighting with her parents and moved out. Staying in a hotel till house done with 2 kids and a boyfriend. Can she do this? Live in Illinois. She has legal custody of course.

Since Nov08 I have had supervised visits with my 2 yr old every wkend and Wed. My parents are the supervisors. This is because of a RO she put on me in Oct08 from a false accusation. I have done things in the past that I am not proud of but no phisical abuse. Mostly damaged things in anger in my own home. She was very free with child till I got a lawyer. Then all of a sudden I am a danger. Anyway court is next week to finalize things and I want supervision dropped. BM told my mom yesterday that she is going to keep supervision and she has sent a visit propoal to my lawyer and if I  dont agree she will see to it the visits stop permanently with myself and my parents. We have had this boy at least 4-5 days/wk since he was born, either me or my parents if I was unavailable. She says she will testify to things she has no proof of and do not involve the child at all. I live in ILL. Is this possible?

In ILL do they look at both wages, BM makes $22/hr, I make $9/hr? Barely make enough to pay bills and eat myself.

update; BM was taking me to court due to what she claims as negligence when child (2) came down with fever and I  took him home early so he could get medical care (another post)  Any way court was 2 wks ago and it was continued as her side didn't seem very prepared. They did ask 3 times for visits to be suspended pending next court (May) and the judge refused. Now since he has ran a fever twice on her and neither time did she take him to the ER.  She called thia AM and said he was sick yesterday with fever and vomiting and she made a Dr appt today. Could I have him tomorrow. Of cource I couldn't refuse. But the whole story is doesn't this blow her story to the courts? I have to miss a days work and lawyer fees for these stupid courts.

I was told by my lawyer today that I probably won't get joint because the mother of my son would not  allow it. I am trying to get a schedule and holiday visits. Have not been to court on this yet as she keeps trying to get visits to stop for one reason or another. visitation suspension was denied today for the 3rd time It's only temp right now.  Why is my lawyer saying this? I am in Illinois

picked son up for visit sat at 9 like ordered , he is 2.  He had a runny nose and watery eyes. That night he had 102 temp. gave tylenol and fever went down. had some cough. next am he acted usual,playing jumping on bed like all 2 yr olds. he was fine the rest of day except no appitite till around 4pm when fever was 103. i forgot i called mom at her work  at 11a to let her know child had fever night befoe but he seemed fine now except for cold. she said ok. so at 5p I called her parents where she lives with child to tell them i was bringing him home because he was ill. had him home by 5:30. They took him to the ER. where he was admitted overnite with dehydration. RSV. came home next day They didnt tell me I found out on my own. Now she is taking our family to court to have visits terminated due to lack of medical care. They never wanted me to have visits anyway. Since court not done yet we cant have him treated yet. Thats why he was taken home so they could get treatment. just another thing to have to deal with.

x gf put PO on me after I filed for visitation schedule. child 22 mo. have been in childs life 3-4x wk since birth. now haven't seen for 2 wks. Its a hesaid/she said situation. no police report. she lied. anyway, now apparently wants to make some kind of deal tomorrow, day before court to answer to PO. what do you think of a women who would possibly use a PO to get her way? Is this legal? She is either fearful or she is not. of cource she put child on PO too.

My son is 22 mon. have practically raised him 1st year. BM either in school,needs to study, or working. never married. would sometimes have him 4-5 days at a time. Now getting less and less, esp since she moved home with her parents 8 mon ago. she has a 5 yr old that her father pretty wells controls and I feel thats its going to happen again with mine. Started court procedings for regular visits instead of only when she says. She then started asking for supervised visits because I have had anger issues in the past. This didn't seem to bother her when I had him more than she did. She doesn't need me now as her folks will babysit. Any way tho temp the judge didn't order supervised. We were to continue as we are till mediation done. By the way I am not a women beater just break things in the past. Anyway now she has went to court and got a restraining order for her and my son. Ican't see him at all. most of the stuff she told the judge were past things and a recent outright lie that I broke her necklace. While she was in court getting  a order of protection I had our son. I bet the judge didn't know this. What do I do in this situation?
