I have a great concern regarding the justice system. I have been going through a nasty divorce over nearly two years. My ex-wife has abused the legal system throughout this time and has never been held accountable, for the frivolous charges that were brought against me and were subsequently dismissed.  I do know and have witnessed that the justice system is bias toward mothers and against the fathers in our society in divorce and custody cases. With all due respect society has been telling fathers that they need to be more active in the family since the 1970's. Fathers have been expected to do more and have picked up the ball. However, the judicial system seems to be stuck in the Stone Age when it comes to awarding custody and allowing the mothers to defile the fathers with lies and false charges to further their cases. I know that the system is overloaded but that does not excuse due process and blind justice. I do hope that the judicial system especially in NC will seriously look at these biases.

My ex-wife suffers from a severe mental illness (Borderline Personality Disorder) and this is documented from several mental health professionals and court appointed counselors. I am a father that cares deeply for my children and their well being. I care so much that I have spent my entire life savings to get just 50/50 custody.  DSS had been involved in our family in the past and I have complied with all the court orders and family plans. I have exhausted all of my resources to get my ex-wife to comply with the court orders and have failed.  I am tired of being presumed guilty based upon a bias in the judicial system.

I wish the judges would take the time to look at the cases and give equal parenting.
