Anyone have experience with the Honorable Steven Gunnell ?

I don't use the term "spyware" because it refers to malicious programs that are designed to obtain personal information for malicious/illegal intent.
It is a program designed to monitor my children's internet activity to prevent them from being exposed to some of the garbage on the internet. I try to maintain certain moral standards in my home and expect my family to do likewise. Upon installing this program, I found that not to be the case. Even a long talk with my step-children didn't change things. If I took the computer away, the mom would find it and hand it over to them. There are other things she did to encourage their behavior that I will not discuss here, but I have had enough.
 And, yes, it was installed on my personal laptop given to me by my soon-to-be ex-wife.

I am fortunate in that I live close to my daughter. I couldn't imagine not being able to be there for her at a moments notice. Guess I'm suffering from withdrawal  !

I experience the same from my X. For the life of me, I will never understand how people can change their behavior from one extreme to the other, seemingly overnight. I really feel that they truly believe, in their own minds, that they are correct and everyone else is wrong. How can everyone else be wrong ? Very rare for that to be the case !  LOL

The father was ordered out because there were also three step-children in the home and the judge decided it would be best to minimize the disruption of the children's daily life and school routine. This same judge also refused to allow visitation every other week when the father is off of work (only allowed every other weekend).
Mother had new boyfriend at the home within three weeks of the father moving out and is now pregnant with fifth child (from boyfriend) !!!

Don't know how your judges are, but here in Louisiana they certainly DO NOT like children being brought into court. A couple of judges have almost thrown people out for doing this. They are very protective of the children and do not want to subject them to this stuff.
They would rather have a social worker talk with the child, do an interview, then the social worker will testify in court of their findings.

Document everything you do in a daily journal/notebook. Save every receipt, every check you write, everything that deals with daily life.
When you go to court, your attorney should insure that it is recorded that your wife owes you half of all customary expenses (House note, house insurance, vehicle note, vehicle insurance, half of all utilities, etc.) If you are in a "Community Property" state, then she legally owns half and IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HALF !!!
At my first hearing, my attorney also had the court record that my wife (who has temporary custody and use of the home) will PAY ME fair rental value for the use of the home, from the time I filed until she moves out !! Poor girl isn't smart enough to realize how much she is going to owe me !

My chance at custody is good also, as she is now pregnant from her adulterous affair and has insufficient means to care for 5 children (only one is mine).
