Does anyone know the Family Code or Law that says how old a child has to be when they can decide on their own where they wish to live?

Has anyone had to remove or had problems with their child's Minors Counsel?  If so I'd like to hear from you.

If the DA looks at it they might consider filing criminal charges, but that will be up to the DA.  If your ex is in violation then it will help you if you need to file an OSC Modification in the future and in any evaluations you might have.  You should ask your attorney any legal questions you might have regarding this situation.  Your attorney may want to immediately go back to court ex-parte on Contempt charges.  Good luck

I'm trying to disqualify my Minor's Counsel for cause.  Does anyone know of any case law for a situation like this?  My Minors Counsel has been sued several times for unlawful detainer, this last time she claims her office is full of toxic mold and it is uninhabitable, yet she sees my 10 year old daughter at her uninhabitable office that is full of toxic mold.  My daughter has had asthma since her early childhood.  Now Minors Counsel is being sued for not paying her credit card bills.  Minors Counsel is not to be trusted with my daughters life.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Thanks for the info but I was not able to open the //www.leginfo.ca.gov... web link and at the //www.courtinfo.ca.gov/forms/fillable/cm010.pdf it gave me a civil case cover sheet.  I need to file a Writ of Mandamus for a family law situation in San Fernando Court, Los Angeles.

Has anyone ever filed a Writ of Mandamus in a family law appeal?  Do you know the names of any cases regarding family law issues where a Writ of Mandamus was filed?  I need to file a Writ of Mandamus to compel the Superior Court to do a Psychiatric Evaluation.  Thanks

I'm  appealing my case in the second district.  The Final Judgment says that my "ex", my child, and myself have to go through an evaluation.  I filed a motion to have a Doctor do the evaluation.  Now the Commissioner is claiming that he does not have jurisdiction so I can't have the evaluation until the appeal is over with.  The appeal could take years.  I have never filed a Writ of Supercedeas in the case or any other Writ.  It's my belief that the Superior Court still has jurisdiction until a Writ is filed in the case.

I know where to look up case law, but what I would like to know is if anyone knows any case law?   What is the name of the parties involved? Case law that shows the Superior Court keeps jursidiction.   Any other info you might have would help too.

Thanks

Do you have any custody at all?  What is the reason for leaving the state?  How old is/are the child(ren)? If your "ex" is able to move out of the state you might want to file a foreign judgment in the new state.  Do you have more information you can give regarding what is happening?

Does anyone know where to find CASE LAW to remove child's counsel?  I am looking to have child's counsel removed for exposing my child to toxic mold at her office.  But I need some case law to quote.  I will be trying to have her disqualified for cause, per FC3150.
