Our next Dads Are Displaced support group meeting will have Brandon Pitts, one of our members, as our featured speaker.  His story has some unique aspects that will inspire you.  Here are the details:

                    Date: Saturday, March 6th
                    Time: 10am - Noon
                    Place: Hardesty-Regional Library
93rd & Memorial (behind Jackie Cooper dealership)
                              Tulsa, Oklahoma

Open Discussion: The last half of the meeting will be devoted to open discussion about specific case issues or other organizational goals, ideas or questions you might want to bring up.  Though there will be limited time on each issue, this segment promises to be lively and fruitful.

Hope to see you there!  We want to hear from you!  (918) 663-3652

I have two extra tickets for the Rock group Jethro Tull's concert on October 21st at The Strand Theatre in Shreveport, Louisiana.   I'm offering the tickets to a fellow non-custodial parent who can and wants to go to the concert which benefits the Red Cross Katrina Relief Fund.

Please e-mail me at [email protected] for more information.

I went to a political conference in Memphis earlier this month and met with the Executive Director of American Coalition of Fathers and Children (ACFC), several other NCP rights activists from around the country, and Richard Farr of KRights Radio.

I want to develop the interest in forming a new group for non-custodial parents in AR, or to grow the group D.A.D.S., and perhaps become an official affiliate of ACFC ( //www.ACFC.org )

Please reply with your opinions about what city or town and time to hold meetings, and a name for the group (Dads Are Displaced, Demanding A Different Society, just Arkansas Chapter or Coalition (of ACFC), or a different name.  I live in Fort Smith.  I know most of you are scattered throughout the state and a few live in other states while you have a case or child in AR.  My idea is to rotate weekly meetings among Fayetteville/Springdale, Fort Smith, Hot Springs, and Conway/Little Rock.  I know NCP groups in surrounding states to help us organize and grow.

Sincerely,
Kinley Hardin

I am the Indiana Civil Right Council's Class Action Coordinator for Arkansas. There are now coordinators for 35 of the 50 states. On September 17, we will be filing a class action lawsuit on behalf of all non-custodial parents in each of those states plus some U.S. possessions and territories. My individual case about my child is in Oklahoma. I'm looking for a fit non-custodial parent who is a legal resident of Arkansas to join as the principal plaintiff to the class action.  Here's an opportunity to bring national attention to, sue and stop the corrupt system destroying families and punishing non-custodial parents.

I would be glad to help any non-custodial parent to remove their case from county/state family court in Western Arkansas to federal district court and invoke Constitutional/federal equal parenting laws, rights, and other state and Supreme court rulings.  I have well-pleaded, well-supported and well-written federal forms that can be modified for your case/situation.  There is much case law supporting a person's right to file/sue and represent themself pro se if they choose.
Anyone is welcome to reply to this message publically or privately.  If requested, I can forward an 8-page e-mail containing more details.

In addition to individual cases, Indiana Civil Rights Council is coordinating and organizing a Class Action suit to be filed in each state soon on behalf of all non-custodial parents and victims of CPS, DHS, etc.  Volunteer Class Action Coordinators are still needed for about 25 (half) of the states.
