Father's Issues / RE: Fair??? Were her comments

>That's all fine and dandy with me, but don't be hurtful and
>call people names because you don't like what they say.  It
>just doesn't help the situation.

I think this would be good advice for you to direct to "StPaulieGirl" She began this whole thing by slamming someone needlessly. And like you said, her comments were "hurtful" and didn't "help the situation".

Father's Issues / RE: concerta

> So does anyone know if he
>can stop her from making their son take this.  btw, when he
>has his son he does not give it to him.

Unless he has joint-decision making authority, he probably won't be able to prevent her from giving the child prescription medication. He'll need to go to court and have a judge order her to cease medicating the child. An evaluation may help, but this kind of thing is always an uphill battle. :(

>You, on the otherhand, are putting "value" on each person
>here, and that's totally not what this place is about.

No, I'm saying her comments were mean-spirited and useless. They helped no one. That's what I'm saying.

Were her comments "valuable information"? Who did they help? What constructive purpose did they serve?

Her comments were a slam out of the blue on a person who's helped SPARC. I think that's wrong, period.

> What you said, right here, means that those who haven't
> been ABLE to assist SPARC like others...have no opinion.

Take it any way you like, including the wrong way, as you did. How you managed to twist that is a work of art. Or something.

SPARC doesn't ask for donations or assistance, that's not what this place is about. But for someone who has done relatively little in comparison to someone that has....well, that seems a bit hypocritical to me.

I'll ask you again: Were her comments "valuable information"? Who did they help? What constructive purpose did they serve?

> EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion, no matter how much
> you don't like it.

Yes, and my opinion is that her comments served no useful purpose, helped no one, and were made to be hurtful.

> Hey Brent, I know you guys stick together. It must have
> been a long night sitting in JayC's mom's basement, holding his hand.

I've never met JayC and have never been to his house. As for sticking together, pardon ME for sticking up for someone who has helped out around this place long before you stumbled onto the scene.

> How is being hateful and bitter helping SPARC?

I don't know, but if you could explain your comments then we'd know, wouldn't we?

> I question JayC's situation, because he has a consistently rotten
> attitude.

What the hell are you talking about? He hasn't posted here in AGES!!! Whatever your problem with him is, take it offline. He didn't come in here and slam you out of the blue.

> How is accessing people's court records helpful to this site?

I have no idea and don't care. If this wasn't done under the auspices of SPARC (and I'm fairly certain it wasn't), then it's irrelevant to what goes on here. SPARC does not take responsibility for what people do in their personal lives.

> I'm here because I want to be a better parent. As a human
> being, I feel very bad for the kids and parents who have to
> put up with this hell. If there is any small way I can help anyone,
>  I will certainly try.

And I've seen you help people. No argument there. But your comments regarding JayC were small, hateful, and purposeless. All you did was create friction and hard feelings. Way to go.

> When I see JayC, I see "red".

Good, I'm glad you can admit to your personal predjudices and feelings. But it has no place here. If you have a problem with JayC, fine. Take it offline and deal with it but don't pollute the board with your infighting.

>I'd bet 95% of the people who post here have never been on the
>board of directors or been a moderator.

And 95% of them don't take pot-shots at people who have helped SPARC for years.

>
>Each poster here, no matter WHO they are, give valuable
>information to others posting questions regarding custody and
>visitation.

I don't think her pointless slam was "valuable information", do you?

>I've no idea why StPaulieGirl posted this to JayC, but it's
>obvious there's "friction".

Fine, so let her start her shit offline instead of airing it here. What constructive purpose did her comments serve?

>to slam her because she hasn't done for this site what JayC
>has is a bit harsh, don't you think?

I wasn't slamming her for that. I was slamming her for being a bitch and starting crap needlessly.

>I value BOTH of their opinions, regardless of who does what.

Not me. I have standards.

> Still scavenging, I see. My court records must have left you furious.
> LOL! Grow up and get a life.

JayC is a long-time SPARC supporter and a SPARC Board of Directors member. He's done more to help SPARC than you ever have, so why don't YOU shut the f*ck up? If you have a personal issue with him, settle it off the boards, but don't drag your personal bullshit in here.

What the hell have you ever done for SPARC? Name me one thing, just one. Ever donated anything, even a dollar? Ever served on the board of directors? Ever been a moderator? Ever volunteered to do ANYTHING here? No, you haven't, so you're in no position to pass judgement on him.

> As far as having any friends....no one in their right mind would
> be a friend of yours...

I'm a friend of his, and so are the rest of the SPARC Board of Directors, and so is the guy that owns this place. That should tell you something.

> This is soooo totally my opinion.

Yes, it certainly is. And your opinion isn't worth a steaming fresh pile of dogshit here, so take it someplace else.

> This person and I went
> round and round several years ago, and he's been known
> to access court records.

Your personal problems and issues with regard to this are of no interest to anyone here. If you want to start or continue shit like this, take it offline.

Former Women's Studies Professor Daphne Patai
Slams Academic Feminism

Former Women's Studies professor Daphne Patai, co-author of Professing Feminism: Cautionary Tales from the Strange World of Women's Studies, slammed Women's Studies for its hatred of men and fathers on His Side with Glenn Sacks on Sunday, November 30. To listen to the show archive, click here.

Some of Patai's targets included: feminist "sexual harassment hysteria," which is used as a weapon against heterosexual males and has destroyed the livelihoods of countless falsely accused men; Women's Studies' relentless promotion of lesbianism, including one professor who says that she "hasn't done her job" if even one female student remained heterosexual at the end of a semester in her class; and a professor's belief that the role of fathers is to molest their daughters in order to train them for a lifetime of sexually servicing men.

One of the first things you'll hear is "Document, document, document!". Having good records is crucial to be able to work with the court or other authorities.

If you haven't already done so, get yourself either the Parenting Time Tracker (PTT) at: http://www.deltabravo.net/custody/tracker.htm or the OPTIMAL Custody Tracking service at: http://www.parentingtime.net. The PTT is free, but the OPTIMAL service is better.
