Father's Issues / RE: thank you card

I sent the judge a thank you card.  Took less than five minutes!  Surely everyone can spare a few minutes.

Has anyone been able to find the article yet?  I'm coming up with zeros.

Father's Issues / RE: Is this legally acceptable?

Great job!  I like it!  Lord knows we all need a place for venting at times.  And it seems quite fitting to display the other side of the story for a  change.

My only concern is the legal ramifications of posting info on the site.  So many of us are going through court issues and doing our best to walk the high road no matter what.

Personally, I would LOVE to submit my info right now!  But I am a bit concerned about having to explain it in front of the judge.  Can anyone give some insight on the legalities of 'shaming' the NCP?

antonin,

Look on the Parenting Issues page and read the post titled 'School Play Questions'.

That should bring you up to date.

Father's Issues / RE: Feedback please.

She said that AbsentIQ contacted her and wants to be tested for paternity...not very likely.  Just doesn't make sense that IQ had his fun with BM 2 yrs ago, then shows up out of the blue wanting to be Daddy and/or pay CS.

Surely she is just grasping at straws by looking up this guy and tossing him into the mix after everthing that has happened.

Nontheless, the worst case scenerio is that AbsentIQ is the BF.  That will leave three options:

1) BM gets custody---that's already been esablished as a NO.
2) BF gets custody---he has never seen the child and works on the road, very unlikely
3) Dad keeps custody---looks like the best option for the child by far

Of course we know that anything under the sun can happen, but don't get discouraged.  This looks like a typical tactic to rattle your nerves.

Is it a real possibility that IQ could be father?

Or is she just yanking your chain for the fun of watching you sweat?

Father's Issues / RE: Custody Battle???

Please tell me how you found out about police responses.

I know of dates and time when police and DHR went to BM's home.  But I have made inquiries at both departments with no luck at all.  They will not even comment on the reasons, much less give me any documentation of the events.

I am usually quite industrious when it comes to getting my hands on information, but this has been a big dead end for me.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
