How hard is it to move with a child to another city in the same state (about 1.5 hrs away)?
Some specifics:
1. Joint custody (but not 50/50).
2. Non-custodial father has money for good attorney and wants to control the mother and rarely pays child support. Manages to keep most of his money and assets hidden, so country has lots of trouble finding it.
3. Custodial mother has legal aid, but attorney is over-worked, not very responsive and just not a very good attorney.
4. Mother works, but can only get 3/4 time at current job. Would have much better prospects in the nearby bigger town.

Help!

I hope they are "relavent." (kidding)

Maybe of more relevevance:  My husband is in the legal industry, so I have a little wherewithal about lawyers, their code of ethics, and their educational practices.  Otherwise I wouldn't have inserted myself into a discussion like this.

I certainly respect your authority to make that decision, but I don't know that I agree with it.  We're talking about someone who commited a kind of fraud on the members of this board.  Sharing information about that person and their background as it relates to this board is relevent, in my opinion.

This kind of commentary will only serve to inflame things more. Let's just move on.

We're actively looking for a family law attorney who'd like to participate here. If you of one, please have them contact us.

That's fine.  I look psycho, but whatever.  (Totally kidding.)

Well, I am an emphatic girl, that's for sure. :)

By the way, your ex is a real crap weasel.
