That's probably it. When you login, the chat room appears in a new window.

Moms Without Custody / Chat Room Hints

>cannot get into this chatroom, nowhere, nohow.  I even had to
>reformat my computer and still can't get in.  Others have had
>similar issues and several of us can't use the chat.  I would
>also like to join your chat event since I have been there done
>that, but unless the chat room problem is solved I won't be
>able to.  I am in MDT zone.

It would help us considerably if you told us what kind of error you're seeing, or what happens when you try to login.

The most common problems are cookies and/or HACK not enabled, the clock time on your PC is incorrect, or you may be using a pop-up blocker.

Make sure you have cookies and HACK enabled. This accounts for about 50% of the problems.

Disable any pop-up blocker you may be using.

Make sure your PC's time and date are correct.

As part of SPARC's committment to serving all non-custodial parents, we're proud to announce our new "Moms Without Custody" message board, intended specifically to help address the needs of non-custodial mothers.

This message board will be moderated by Jennifer Isham, MA, NCC, LCPC, CS, who was the National Director of Mothers Without Custody for 10 years, working with noncustodial mothers from across the country.

"Going through a divorce and becoming a noncustodial mom led me to a career in counseling.  I'm a  Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Intuitive coach.  I'm also a Reiki Master, crystal and energy therapist.  Over the past 20 years, I've worked with individuals, couples, and families in various stages of disenchantment, challenge, curiosity, awareness, fear, interest excitement, and desire for change.  Areas of interest include personal development across the lifespan, life transitions, including midlife transition, divorce and custody, grief and loss and end-of-life preparation, legacy building, sexuality, intuition and spirituality.  I am a   passionate advocate for helping clients realize their unique and personal voices.

A writer, speaker and popular class and workshop leader, I try to bring my love for creativity and innovation into all that I do. I have an interactive, co-creative, supportive teaching and coaching/counseling style."

Welcome to our new message board, moderator, and visitors!

Did you ever try emailing and suggesting this? If you had, this would have happened much sooner. :)

Dear Socrateaser / Socrateaser Information
May 24, 2007, 12:46:26 PM
Socrateaser (an experienced family law attorney) no longer administers this forum. He skillfully answered questions here for several years, helping people and providing free legal advice.

For reasons unknown, Socrateaser transferred his user account to another attorney (a non-family law attorney) without informing the administrator or the users here. This person assumed his role for several months and then started asking for money to continue answering questions.

This goes against our basic policy of not charging for services on SPARC and he was subsequently asked to leave.

SPARC is currently seeking a family law attorney who would like to field questions on this message board. If you would like to do that, please contact us at [email protected].

>Scroll down and there is a link to paypal.com BUT when I

>anything.

Yeah, the link was waaaaay outdated. If you really, really want to send something to SPARC you can use [email protected] via PayPal.

Dear Socrateaser / RE: No charges ever
Mar 09, 2007, 09:44:47 AM
>Sparc has had no contact with Soc either verbal or written in
>the last 3 months??

No, and we have no way to contact him at the present time. Messages sent to his "[email protected]" address go to Ken Kaplan as far as we're aware.

>Was Soc still a practicing attorney while contributing here?

I believe so.

To answer another question, I don't think Soc passed away, I think he simply had other things that took precedence over managing this board.

His knowledge, humor, and candor will be greatly missed. :(
