Do you have an attorney?

Remember, if mom is claiming abuse, the burden is on her to prove the abuse...but that means you need to know how to demand she prove that. If you do not have an attorney and cannot get one, I seriously recommend you study (really study) your state and local rules of civil procedure, the rules of evidence, go sit in and watch some family court cases, discovery and its rules and case law.

If your wife just moved in the last couple months, you may still have a fighting shot at a modification of custody. I would recommend having a (good) attorney handle that if at all possible. At the absolute very least you need a modification to reflect the new distance, AND to have mom 100% responsible for the transportation of the children or if you are to provide for some transportation then possibly your cs obligation can be offset by the amount you provide for transportation.

Mom basically leaving in the middle of the night is a big no-no...but you need to jump on it asap.

Unfortunately, without a change of circumstance, there isn't much that you can do. Make sure to document thoroughly for when you do get your chance. This site has a wonderful parenting time tracker that I use religiously.
