Father's Issues / Belgium - good news - presumably reliable
« on: Mar 31, 2006, 07:13:34 AM »

Historic news from Belgium:
Fifty-fifty shared co-parenting legislation has passed by majority voting!

Last evening the Belgian Commons has passed presumptive 50/50 joint physical care and custody legislation by majority vote of 90 votes in favor no votes against it and 36 votes abstained. This gives Belgium the primary for being the first country worldwide in introducing true presumptive co-parenting legislation on the national scale.

The presumptive co-parenting legislation will now be forwarded to the Senate where voting's will be a formality and will then come into effect 21 days after the has been published in the states journal, which is now expected before the coming summer starts.

After that the standard starting point for all Belgian court ordered post divorce parenting arrangements will be that the children will be cared for one week by one parent and the next week by the other parent
Alternating, etc. etc.

Congratulations Belgium!

More reports will follow later.

Father's Issues / What we are up against......
« on: Mar 29, 2006, 08:52:58 AM »
If you ever wonder what kind of people are against "Equal Parenting" and the kinds of arguments one can expect from them; the battle in NY is heating up and the papers are giving us a good idea.

Marcia Pappas, president of the New York State Chapter of the National Organization for Women wrote an article "Joint Custody Bill Not In Child's Interest".

Notice the theme that runs through it is:
   1. men are abusive,
   2. don't want to spend time with their kids,
   3. that shared parenting is only to escape paying money to the mothers.

[EM]Glenn Sacks countered the argument and is linked for you to compare.[/EM]

I thought I would pass this along.  This was posted on another board I visit and was "Approved for Posting by Admin".  So it is legit.

Father's Issues / Letter - Good/Bad?
« on: Jun 14, 2005, 09:52:22 AM »
1. I went to mediation with GAL last Monday (6/06/05).
2. I brought up concerns/issues.
3. eX said NO to all of them.

My big request was to take son out of daycare at 2:00 instead of 3:00 on Tuesday. (divorce decree written up when son was 2.  Son is now 5 ½, and does not take naps)

Here is a letter I was going to send to GAL.

What do you think?

Attorney – Mediator

Dear GAL:

It is a beautiful day today, and because of my work schedule I can get out of work early.  My brother offered his pool to play in.  (My brother lives near Xcity where eX has enrolled SON in daycare)

1.   My brother emailed eX requesting to pick up SON at 2:00PM from daycare.
2.   My mom called shortly after, having not heard back from eX, offered to call eX directly.  Speaking with eX she requested if she could pick up SON at 2:00.

Both requests came back “NO”

It is unfortunate that SON must be in daycare instead of spending time with his dad and family.

Sincerely Yours,

CC: my attorney

I thought this was interesting.

No matter where you sit on the fence when judging the Jackson case, Gloria Allred went to far with her statement on the Fox News.

This must be sent to everyone who fights for family rights.

On Hannity & Colmes tonight, June 1, Gloria Allred made a statement that “[EM]she felt Jackson should loose his children regardless the outcome of the trial[/EM]”. She then said “[EM]children are removed all the time based on reported allegations and basically said no proof of wrong doing was needed to do so.[/EM]”

We must all jump on this chance to demand the show do a segment on this issue. Fox news claims to be fair and balanced so this may be a great chance to bring this issue to public light. Please everyone email them ASAP and demand they do a show on the DOJ Stats that say more then 3 million children are removed each year based on false allegations. Write them at Hannity@foxnews.com and forward this to every person, and group you know.

This is NOT about judging the Jackson case but it is a chance to get attention to this very important issue. Don't let this chance slip away. Please write them ASAP!

An interesting take of the “Hannity & Colmes” Fox News report:

Subject: Hannity & Colmes reveals the TRUTH about FAMILY Courts

On Hannity & Colmes last evening (1 June) Gloria Allred made a statement that she felt "[EM]Jackson should loose his children regardless of the outcome of the trial.[/EM]"

She then said children are "[EM]removed from their parents all the time based solely on reported allegations and that no proof of wrong doing was needed for the FAMILY courts to do so.[/EM]"

Isn't that exactly what we (25-MILLION noncustodial parents) have been decrying for all to hear for the last 35 years of the FAILED Social(ist) Experiment of these last 35 years?

AT LONG LAST it is finally revealed in the media (IN PRIMETIME!!!!) that children are systematically taken from their parents by the FAMILY courts [EM]"solely on the basis of allegations and without a NEED to adjudicate on the basis of PROOF!!!!!! [/EM]

If this doesn't violate every fundamental liberty espouse by the US Constitution, then what does???

MANY THANKS To Fox, Hannity & Colmes of their TRUTH IN REPORTING, and to Gloria Allred for her honesty - a rare thing in a lawyer (aka Divorce Industry proponent).

To: bigwonderwoman@...

I am making a documentary film on the Family Law System in North America and I am looking for fathers who have a story to tell about the abuse of the system that they encountered.

I am also looking to talk to children of "non custodial" parents and hear their opinions. I would like children who are older, anywhere from 13 and up. I would like to know what these children think about having a "Disneyland dad" growing up...would they have liked to see him much more, troubles they may have had to endure or gotten themselves into due to PAS etc.

I am also looking for the ex wives of these fathers or women who have been abused by the system. The idea is to make the general public more aware of the state of the family court systems. The name of the doc will be along the lines of "Capital Injustice".

Any help you can potentially offer would be great as well as potentially help with the cause.

For your information I am a father who has and still am getting abused by the system. Please feel free to publish this in any forums you think it may get notice. I just ask that you do not publish my name, a contact email can be published.

Thank you.

Father's Issues / Impotent ex-husband must pay damages

Impotent ex-husband must pay damages

An impotent Italian man who kept his problem a secret from his wife until after their wedding must pay her damages for 'eroding' her right to have a family, Italy's Supreme Court has ruled.

The woman, identified by the Italian media as Cristina S., was quick to get her marriage annulled in the 1990s after learning to her horror that her husband could not consummate it. She then demanded damages, saying she had been robbed of her "right to sexuality" and the promise of a family.

Despite losing legal battles in lower courts, she kept...

Father's Issues / true joint works
« on: Apr 21, 2005, 01:40:33 PM »
true joint works

10-million dollar government study done in the late 80's that found that most of the arguments against fathers, and against true joint, or coparenting, were false. The only people who have trashed them are the women's libbers who say it's a way for men to slink out of their CS responsibilities.

Here it is: 10-million dollar, 15-year study conducted in Mariposa County, Arizona.

The writer of this study did another study about the affect on children when the mother moves away. He was thrashed for that one since the criteria were much less extensive.

There are many, many hits on the title of this book. Some are written by a feminist by the name of Trish Wilson who heads a webmag or group called Feminista. She's a real gem.

Here are just a couple of sites. You can find all sorts of stuff by googling "true joint" and "braver."
