FAIRNESS IN THE FAMILY COURT SYSTEM
« on: Mar 17, 2004, 09:41:06 AM »
I COULD ONLY SPEAK FOR MYSELF AND POST SOMETHING HERE TO RELAY  MY PAST NIGHTMARES WITH THE FAMILY COURT SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM NEEDS SO MUCH ADJUSTMENT AND FAIRNESS PUT INTO IT TO PROTECT THE GOOD FATHERS WHO WNAT TO DO THE RIGHT THING FOR THEIR CHILDREN. I AM ONE OF MANY OUT THERE. BUT TO GO THRU THE PROCESS OF DOING RIGHT, WE ARE TREATED LIKE COMMON CRIMINALS! DEADBEAT DADS BEWARE, BECAUSE YOU MADE THIS SYSTEM THE WAY IT IS TODAY! THERE IS NO WAY OUT OF PAYING FOR YOUR CHILDREN PERIOD! YOU CANT MAKE THEM DISAPEAR, BUT THERE IS A SOLUTION TO OUR SIMPLE ANSWER. WE AS A TOTAL UNION GET PETITIONS MADE UP AND SIGNED BY FATHERS WHO REALLY WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE FAMILY COURTS WITH THE BASICS FOR START OF WHAT SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED FIRST IN THE LAWS THAT EXSIST TODAY. THE MAIN PROBLEM WHEN PETITIONS ARE FILED IS THEY TAKE SO LONG TO COME UP FOR A HEARING. WHY SO LONG? THEY ARE NEVER REVUED AND PUT TOGETHER BY ANYONE IN THE COURT AS FAR AS WHAT IS FAIR AND EQUAL. I AM SAYING (EXAMPLE) LIKE IF WIFES INCOME IS GREATER OR IF SHE IS LIVING HIGHER THAT THERE SHOULD BE A FORMULA AUTOMATICLY FIGURING WHAT IS EQUAL AMOUNT SET SO BOTH CONTRIBUTE IN THE SUPPORT IN ALL FAIRNESS. MOST OF US WHO WENT IN THE HEARINGS THINKING THEY COULD GET AROUND IT BY JUST HAVING COMMON SENSE WAS WRONG. GET TO KNOW THE SYSTEM BY FINDING THE FACTS. LAWYERS NEED TO HAVE MORE ACCESS TO THE FACTS TOO. IF ANY ONE IS INTERESTED IN FILING SOME KIND OF PETITION WRITE YOUR VIEW POINTS AND INPUT, IDEAS. THANKS FOR READING. JERRY FROM LONG ISLAND, N.Y.

The Current System is similar to welfare and why wouldn't you get free money if you could and even feel entitled to it. There is too much emphasis placed on that mandatory 17% particularly if you have a lazy or incompetent support magistrate. Petitions are good but is there any unified movement and where to send them to. Are there any alternative plans being proposed by social thinktanks. i am a noob and have alot of questions but it starts somewhere . Things have got to change.
