What should I expect?

I have temporary primary custody of our son. Final court date is early 2010. Today, my attorney called today to say BM demands depositions from family members and me. I admit that I am feeling very anxious. Is it for me to spend more money? How should I prepare and what does she expect to come from the depositions? Thank you

tigger

I had me ex's paramour's family deposed.  My lawyer was disappointed that the sister didn't flat out say that her sister was having an affair with my ex.  She was careful not to implicate her sister.  However, because of the questions I had him ask, it proved that the only connection between her house (her sister and nephew were staying with her) and my house was her sister and my husband.  So all those phone calls from her house to mine HAD to be from her sister to my husband.  There were other things.

My point is that trying to hide information could backfire.  She was so focused on "protecting" her sister, she had no clue she was actually incriminating her.

Honesty, all the way around is the best policy.
The wonderful thing about tiggers is I'm the only one!
