My name is Tania and I have a 1 year old. We were not married at the time of his birth. The father has signed the affidavis when I filed for child support. I had a pro-bono lawyer do all my paperwork & now I have an upcoming court day in Septemer in regards to getting full legal & physical custody of my son. The father is currently in jail, is convicted felon, and will most likely be sent to prison within a few months. I know I will win the case, that's not a problem. I'm nervouse because I have to represent myself in court. I know I should dress nice, have evidence (his criminal records, copy of affidavid, I even have voicemail on ph stating sorry I couldn't make to see my son, ect). What other advice do you have on presenting my case. The father will most likely be there since he is in custody in the same court house.
