nhelp!

I lost my parental rights and want to  regain my rights. I have no criminal record, I have not hurt, or done any abuse to my wonderful daughter. I made it to all my visits, went to all doctors appointments, and prenatal visits. I Love my daughter and am seeking a lawyer to at least stay in some sort of contact for now. Want to know my daughter is okay. Thanks and I feel no hope sometimes but pray to God and work hard to support my daughter who I don't even get to talk too. It hurts daily.  :'(

How did you loose your rights if you were showing up? Something not right. Did child get adopted? Did other parent get sole custody?
Lots of questions, please give more facts so we can help you.
Did you ever go to court? Is this a baby? Sometimes, mother will get custody but father can still have visitation days.

Sorry for the late response. I am working two jobs thanks for your response on this hard issue in my life. I did go to court, and separated from the mom. My main issue was I could not find a job and lived on a couch. The mother has mental issues and drinks while taking her medications, which makes her incapable of being a good mother. I at one time was with the mom during a time when the oldest daughter of my daughter got taken away from the state. Then I separated from the mom and did not succeed in getting a job and housing in Southern CA. I then moved North and got a full time job and a place of my own. I was doing good until an unannounced visit took place and the worker had seen I did not get rid of my pet rats. The court ordered I get rid of them. I was in the process of giving them to the neighbor which I ended up doing, but that was to late. I lost my unmonitored visits. My mom who has no criminal record and lives in a house in VA flew out to CA to try and gain custody of my daughter. My mom got approved by the state of VA and with in the 3 months she was in CA the judge did not once call her in the court room. I lost my parental rights and My daughter is adopted . This is a very short version of this horrible event. I do not deserve to have my rights taken away when I was not around the mom, I made all but 1 visit due to weather, I made it to all the doctors appointments and even though it took a lot of time my public defender did not bring up my parents enough to keep Cadence in the family, and my progress.  :'(

The child was adopted to a non-family member? If so, you have a very hard uphill battle to fight that the adoption was not valid.
If the child was adopted by a family member, may be able to have some sort of visitation ordered but still uphill battle.
Do you know the family who adopted her? Was it an open adoption?

I can sympathize with your situation!
I am a father who lives in BC who has been falsely accused of sexual abuse of my now 9 year old daughter who lives with my mother.
I am a retired veteran of the Canadian Forces who lives on a limited pension.
I support my wife and three children (excluding my 9 year old daughter), aged 6yrs, 3yrs and 1 yrs old.
I do not have money due to my limited income for the services of an attorney, and my mother is denying access to my daughter at present.
Are there any advocates in Canada that could help me with this situation?
I do not believe that it is in the best interests of my daughter to not be able to see me.
This is not the first time that my mom has disobeyed a court order, and denied access.
It is my hope that there might be an advocate out there that could help me with this delicate situation.
The incident was submitted to protective services (Called The Ministry of Children and Families up here in Canada), and it was immediately dismissed by them. There was never an order, nor an investigation. This would probably be due to the fact that nothing has ever occurred of this nature between myself and my daughter. As I stated, I have three other children that I live with with my wife of 7 years. My other daughter would never say anything of this nature about me, as I am a very loving father and I have never abused my children. I have abused myself in doing back breaking work in order to support my family (12 hours shifts doing concrete hi-rise forming, ie. building towers) out of love for my kids to be able to have a good life, and to have the things that they need. I joined the military after the recession back in 2008 destroyed any chance I had of employment as a Journeyman Carpenter. I was injured while serving in the Canadian Forces, and I now live on a very limited income to support my wife and four children with. This issue came up around Christmas, and my oldest daughter has not received her presents to this date, and I am afraid to the amount of brainwashing that my mother (her grandmother) is subjecting her to.
I am afraid that if this is allowed to go too far, that my other three kids may lose access to me, their loving father. I have read about cases where the judge has decided to remove access in family court even when no clear evidence of a sexual offence is present. I served my country, had my livelihood taken away from me due to the severe nature of my injury(chronic pain in my lower back and left leg, which is partially paralyzed, plus three compressed discs from my military service), and now I am having the one thing threatened that I value more than anything else...access to my children, and their right to have their father, a true family man, taken away from them!

:'( I know this is not an easy task and from what advice I get everyone is telling me it is too late and I can not do anything. To refresh I lost my parental rights and am fighting to regain them. I do not understand or know it is not fair to say well that's it. My daughter is 5 and how many years does she have not seeing or speaking to me is beyond me. For me to just give up is what a a bad father would do and I am not a bad father so just to let anyone who reads this know I will not give up even if it takes representing myself because these lawyers are afraid to speak up against this terrible system. I have a right to regain my rights if they were wrongfully taken away just as a innocent man has a right to to challenge the court when wrongfully convicted. I just need a lawyer with some heart to help me with this process. If you are going to state this can not be done then don't bother to post because I know for a fact I have the right to regain my rights no matter what and yes the court does make mistakes and I am going to call the court of California out and do what it takes to regain my rights because I should not have them removed in the first place. Just to refresh I have no criminal record, I made all my visits, court dates, doctors appointments and am living in an apartment have 2 jobs, life insurance, savings and can get health insurance for my daughter of 5.  Can someone please help either with a case situation that is similar or an attorney that is not a wimp.

nhelp!

oh to add on my family or my mother and father got certified in VA to be able to be a guardian and or custody of my daughter Cadence. California did not take them into consideration and let the foster family at the time adopt my daughter. Again my down fall was no job and not a suitable living situation  for about a year and a half. I did get a full time job, and a house by the last two court dates and this information was not brought up. The court made this decision to adopt my daughter prior  to the progress they were just going through the motions. The mother had a big impact on the courts decision, but I was separated completely  from the mom.

I find it very hard to believe within the whole US not one case shows a father regaining his rights after their child was adopted.  If so prove it!
