The parenting plan was filed in Oct. last year. It does have the move away clause in it. So far transportation costs have not been an issue since preschool is the drop off/pick up point (which is now ~20 miles from where she lives, although close to where she works).

So far the move has not affected any parenting time. She has denied me parenting time but for no more than a few hours at a time.

(I asked these statements/questions in another post, but I'm putting them here for your convenience)

So far I have not used a lawyer. Would this be a good time to get one? How serious is the contempt charge?

If I file for contempt will I be opening up a can of worms?

So far I have been trying to keep everything cordial for my son's sake.

I would like to If I could minimalize his time with her, not completely, but I don't consider a lot of their interaction to be healthy mentally.
