Post by: IceMountain on Mar 16, 2006, 06:15:48 PM
Can anyone tell me if you can access Texas court records online??  If so, can you direct me to the website?

I'm not sure what county, but it is in the Austin and Round Rock area.

Thanks!

The county for those locations haven't established a "public" records data base.  However you can still get criminal records here:

https://records.txdps.state.tx.us/dps_web/APP_PORTAL/index.aspx

but it's NOT free, but still at a darn good price. Run a criminal check on persons in Texas for $3.15 per search. Credit card payment accepted online. However, be forewarned that this site is not very user friendly. Be prepared to be annoyed.

The contact numbers are listed there for criminal and civil matters.

Here's another link...you pay for it, but it will give you a whole RAP sheet if they have one.  I think it's $19.95 a month.  Tells what courts, counties, etc. any charges were in.  I think it's for criminal records only though, not civil.
