*Everyone* here is telling you the same thing: "don't discard the father".
How many people have to say it before it means anything to you? It's not like this is being hotly debated with people on both sides of the issue- EVERYONE here is telling you the same exact thing. Everyone.
So really, how many people have to say it before you get it, before it means anything to you? 50? 100? 1000?
Personally, I'm starting to wonder if you're just an exceptionally well-behaved troll.
