Title: Suspended Drivers license
Post by: jpantel on Feb 28, 2005, 09:37:38 AM
Soc,

I am in Pro Per in Orange County, CA. In a cusotdy, visitation, support case.

The respondent mother is driving on a suspended license right now. It has been suspended since 01/25/2005. I found out from the DMV it's suspended under section 13801. I do not know what this is.

The mother is driving our son around still and disobeying the law. We have a custody modification hearng comming up in a few weeks.

1. Is there anything I can do to help my case in regards to the mother driving on a suspended license such as getting her caught, video taped etc.?

2. Can you tell me in California what a 13801 suspension is?

3. If the suspension has to do with saftey of her driving in any way how can I make sure our son is safe in the car with her? Or get her to abide by the law?

Not Soc but... In California a suspension under Vehicle Code Section 13801 will be taken when a driver refuses to submit to or fails to complete a department reexamination.

Hope this helps a little.
