Title: BEST STRATEGIC MOVE?
Post by: chiquito2005 on Oct 05, 2006, 04:15:53 PM
I filed a motion for downward modification of support... The return date was last September 26, 2006. The other party was to serve me with their responses seven days before the return date. So far, I haven't received anything. How should I handle? What is the best strategic move I can make because of this lack of response by the other party?

Ask an attorney. I would be inclined to present your offer to the judge and say that you never received any objections (or communications of any type) from the other party. This will only work if your request is reasonable.
