I am french and American,
My divorce was done in the US but never done in france.
I am looking to get it translated by the services, ....
in short they are asking me for a "Certificate of non appeal or certificate of divorce absolute " how do I get that? motion to the court or simply letter ?
could they be looking for the final divorce papers from here?
I am not sure what they need. they need a copy certified of divorce decree, that I have, that's easy but the certificate of non appeal, .... no clue
Just send them what you have and tell them that in the U.S. there is no such document as a certificate of non-appeal. They'll either accept the certified copy of your divorce decree or they'll tell you they need more documentation.
