Title: Driving with an out of state permit
Post by: Ref on Dec 17, 2006, 06:51:03 AM
DD has her driving permit from the state of Florida. She will be in PA for her winter break.

1. Is it legal for her to drive in PA with a Florida permit?

No. She must comply with the temporary license laws of PA.

DD will be old enough soon to get her license in FL.

1. Would the same be true with a permanent license?

Thanks

No. A permanent license is recognized in other States for non-resident travel. A temporary license is not.
