Title: lawyer questions

Long story short, its gotten to the point that we need to consult with a lawyer.  I see the attorney search, but I don't know how lawyers get into the database here.  We need a lawyer in NJ to at least consult with.  Does anyone know if the lawyers here are screened in some way, or recommended by other members?  Does anyone have a lawyer to recommend?

I'm not in your state, but try //www.martindale.com or your state bar association.
