Can anyone give me some pointers on what to add in a petition fo Custody. Are there any petitions on the net that I can look so that I can get ideas while putting my own petition together?

I need some help with this too. We are in PA and have joint legal custody. My husband want sto file for joint physical custody - we moved to the same school district and everything. NEed to start this process without an attorney at least to get to mediation - need some petitions and cases to work off of!

I think perhaps you are not refering to a petition to enable joint custody in a state (which is what the other posters are refering you to on the Father's Board.) I think you might be refering to a legal document known as a "petition for custody" which
many people are not fully aware of. They assume their complaint or answer is sufficient. There is an example of such a document at (Michigan):
