Title: Child Endangerment

Hello,I am new to your site,and looking for help!!I woke today to be handed a
summons to appear in court 1200 miles away,by Wed.The mother of my children(we were never married)is accusing me of harming my three daughters.I did not ever harm my children.i am newly married and the childrens mom is afreaid that me and my new wife will get custody of my girls.
We were planning to work out a visitation arrangment but now I am under fire,any help would be appritiated.

what are the allegations she has made of child endangerment?  What state were the charges filed in? How old are the kids

Do NOT take these allegations lightly - get an attorney in her area ASAP.  If you do not fight these and win, she will be able to stop you from ever seeing your children until they are 18.  You have to get a continuance for the hearing so that you have some time to prepare and respond.  Once you know what the allegations are, consider taking a lie detector test to prove your innocence, if you are innocent, because even if the test is not admissible, most judges will pay attention to the results.

You have few choices but to appear in court with evidence and witnesses to rebut the alegations of endangerment.

How you do that depends on your particular circumstances.   You should have a lawyer for such a case.
