Hi,
Just wondering if anyone here has gone through change of custody due to teens grades? Is it a difficult battle?
That can be a basis to change custody depending on your State. Many states will entertain motions to change custody based on what is in the best interests of the child. Certainly falling grades may qualify if you can tie in the custodial parent's condiuct to the falling grades. Scrutinizing the records for excessive absences or a failure to complete homework assignments is a start. By itself, the falling grades are unlikely to be enough.
