Title: Lawyers
Post by: indy63 on Apr 01, 2009, 12:18:51 PM
NCP is seeking custody of child from CP. Significant other (not CP) of NCP has plead guilty to child solicitation. The lawyer represented the signicant other and is now representing NCP in a custody battle.  Are there any laws regarding ethics and/or morals of lawyers that would pertain to this issue?

I dont think so...only if the lawyer represents one side they can never represent the other but this sign.other is not part of this case...(they can be called as a witness but prob not since it is negative..)
