If the parent's both decide on changing custody from sole physical to joint physical - how do they go about doing in a cost effective way. Both have decided that since they arrangment is pretty much joint physical without the wording with the court system that they want to change it so that it is official. Is this possible or not.
Thank you.
IF you are in agreement, you can write up your own parenting plan have both parties noterize it and file it with your local courthouse...it is cheap to do IF you are both in agreement...just watch your wording in it so that nothing is vague and it covers everything!
I agree, just about anything can be approved by the judge if all parties agree.
Check out the sample parenting plans on this site and edit them the way you want them to be. Get everything spelled out now, so that there is no gray area later on that may be hard to change.
Thank you to you both for responding!! I appreciate your help.
