Title: Unless you have "documented' proof that your wife is

abusing the child, doing drugs, in jail, etc. the chances are highly unlikely that you will be granted custody.  And on top of it, you moved to another state.  Louisiana has jurisdiction over the child custody/support case.  A judge will be unlikely to rule to remove a child from it's mother and send the child to it's fathers house in a different state.  ABout the best thing you could do is to retain an attorney in Louisiana, and get a custody/support plan in place.  The fact that you moved means that you will probably be 100% responsible for transportation costs.  Additionally, a judge will probably not be inclined to let you leave the state with a 3 month old.  You will probably have to exercise your visitation in Louisiana until the child gets older.
