Title: Custodial Mother begins to work
Post by: Great Dad on Jul 11, 2014, 03:58:39 PM
My ex wife has finally secured employment 7 years after our divorce. I am still making significant child support payments for our 3 teen and pre-teen aged children. Will her income be a basis for me to get child support reduced?

Depends on state but yes, if child support was based on both incomes .

find an on-line calculator for child support --and that will immediately show you if both parents or just the NCP's income is considered.

www.supportguidelines.com off the top of my head, but google should find a calculator as well.
