i was wondering can i file for child abandonment . my ex girlfriend left the state on my weekend, i went to take my daughter back on sunday only to found out her mother left the state do i have a waiting period before i can file for sole custody? the children services was looking into to her fro drinking an doing drugs in front of my 5yr daughter whick i was jsut in court an the judge made it in the court papers she was not to be drinking or doing drugs in front of our daughter but she was still doing it can you PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
