Title: Cost of child care
Post by: jzurinsky on Jun 16, 2008, 05:02:43 PM
My X and I have a soon to be 7 month son. She works full time and I am on disability where I only work 15 hrs per week. I have our son on Mondays and Wednesdays and her mother watches him the other days. My X just informed me that her parents are going to start making her pay for child care while they watch him. Which I believe will be figured in my share of support as well. But my question is if my mother will take care of him at no cost will the judge let her take care of him while we are both working or will they just make me pay for the child care?

Usually it has to be a certified daycare provider. Can you switch your 15 hours and watch him most days? Be careful, you may end up paying major $$$ if she sends him to a certified place.
